Summer 2020 Tour Bus Schedule Update – Service Partially Resumed

Biei tour bus, which has been suspended temporarily to contain the spread of coronavirus, will resume service.

Since it was announced that Furano-Biei Noroko Summer Train Line is going to re-open, we have decided to re-open Biei bus tours as well, starting from July 18th.

All the tours will operate with social-distancing rules in mind. Each passenger will be assigned to the space of two seats, instead of one, to keep a safe distance from other passengers. We apologize in advance for any inconvinience this might cause. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

＜Health and Safety Guidelines＞

①Tour bus sitting capacity is limited at 50%.

②Each passenger is assigned the space of two seats.

③Proper ventilation through the bus ventilation system is monitored. 

④All staff must wear masks. Daily temperature checks are conducted.

⑤Alcohol sanitizers are installed at the information counter and bus entrances. 

⑥Please refrain from congregating. The tour guide will speak through a microphone from a distance throughout the tour.

⑦Before you board the bus, please get your temperature checked, disinfect your hands, and wear a mask. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you very much for your patronage of Hill Town Biei.

In response to the government’s declaration of a state of emergency, we have decided to cancel all the bus tours until the end of June and may extend the suspension period further depending on the situation.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to our customers who have already applied or are planning to apply, as well as to all the travel agencies. Thank you very much for your understanding.
