First Freeze of the Blue Pond This Season

A sudden snowfall has covered the area, and the surface of the Blue Pond has finally begun to freeze.
Depending on upcoming temperatures, the ice may temporarily melt, but Biei is steadily heading into full winter.

Morning and evening temperatures now drop below freezing, and snow that melts during the day can refreeze, making walkways extremely slippery.
Please watch your step when visiting.
As daily high temperatures continue to fall, the true winter season is approaching Biei.
