We are pleased to announce that on March 31, 2025, the Biei Tourism Association (Shiki-no-Johokan Information Center) has been certified under the “Barrier-Free Mindset Certification System for Tourist Facilities” established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan.

The “Barrier-Free Mindset Certification System for Tourist Facilities” aims to create a society where people with diverse physical and mental characteristics and perspectives can communicate, understand each other, and support one another. This certification is awarded to tourist facilities that actively promote accessibility and information dissemination.

Moving forward, we will continue striving to be a tourist information center where elderly visitors, people with disabilities, and all guests can enjoy a safe, comfortable, and pleasant experience.
