Information about mailing brochures

If you wish to receive a set of tourist brochures by mailPleaseapply here. Please note that shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. A complete set of brochures (210g or less) will be sent by mail (post mail collect). Please allow 4 to 10 days for delivery. If you are in a hurry (minimum 4 days), please call us. Customers will be charged 241 yen (215 yen + 26 yen) for shipping, including collect fee, for a complete set. Please pay the postage to the delivery person at the post office upon arrival. (If you can send stamps in advance, please send them excluding the cash-on-delivery fee.)

Tourism Poster for Viei, the City of Hills

The Biei-cho Tourist Association produces the following 11 types of Biei-cho sightseeing posters. There are 8 types of posters in B1 size (728mm x 1,030mm) and 3 types in B2 size (515mm x 728mm). As for the season of the posters, there will be 1 type in spring (B1 x 1), 5 types in summer (B1 x 3, B2 x 2), 2 types in fall (B1 x 2), and 3 types in winter (B1 x 2, B2 x 1).

This work was selected in the poster category of the Biei Photo Contest. The rolls of wheat culms rolling in the wheat field after they have been cut capture a typical summer scene in Biei.

This photograph captures the scenery of early autumn, when kigarashi, a Japanese pepper cultivated as a fertilizer after harvesting crops, has bloomed all over the area. The photo was taken by Toshitaka Nakanishi, who currently lives in Biei.

Information on Mailing Tourist Posters

If you would like to receive sightseeing posters by mailPleaseapply here. We usually charge a fee for posters (500 yen per poster), but we will sell up to 3 posters to individuals and up to 5 posters to travel agencies, etc. free of charge, provided that the request is made by mail. However, we ask for your understanding that you will be responsible for shipping costs. We will send the posters by Yu-pack (small package), postage paid on delivery. Please pay the postage to the delivery staff upon arrival of your poster. Please refer to the following list of prices (for reference). If you are in a hurry, please call us.
