In Biei during the winter season, the Shirogane Blue Pond transforms into a stunning landscape of frozen waters and pristine snow-covered fields, creating a magical scene. Shirahige Falls, even in winter, continues to flow powerfully, offering a beautiful contrast of blue waters and snowy surroundings.
During the year-end and New Year’s period, there will be changes to the bus schedules connecting Biei to the Shirogane Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls.
Please note that on December 31st and January 1st, there will be some reduced services. We recommend checking the updated timetable in advance.
